Apple can not permanently fix the security hole that affects Mac OS X Yosemite. A former NSA analyst says this operating system version can be attacked with Rootpipe.
Apple announced that 10.10.3 update for Mac OS X would solve the Rootpipe security breach, but it seems that the efforts have not been successful.
The vulnerability allows injected software can have administrator access, without having to ask permission. Therefore, some applications may inject malware onto your system without this being aware. This vulnerability is present in OS X since 2011 and Apple announced an update released last week that would allow the fix for OS X Yosemite, refusing to release updates for older versions of the operating system.
The explanation that the update has not corrected the vulnerability comes the voice of Patrick Wardle, who claims to have shown the operation of failure for Apple, in secret, so that the brand can be fixed permanently.
Wardle is an NSA analyst and former intern of former NASA and now has a computer security company.
Apple declined to comment. View Wardle video made on the subject.
